Bloody Decks! Trolling flies for Tuna is a blast and very productive. Not unlike trolling buggers at pass lake in a belly boat or bucktailing Coho out at Neah. It's a ton of fun and, yeah, marginally flyfishing but who cares.

I misspoke. I meant the blade was atypical. My point (poorly made) is that with all streamer profile flies, synthetic materials don't behave the same way as natural materials and as a rule should be used sparingly in combination. It's not about Tuna flies per se.

Thanks. I've been out of the tuna game for 6 years but that wasn't a "typical" fly when I was flyfishing for Tuna. It looks great, but my only concern is that artificial material tends to bind up to other materials when there's underlying turbulence but I'm sure you have that figured out.
