    SHOCKED! and in awe....

So everyone agrees it's only a face a mother can love. But, I have a question,..... What are the fish looking at when their eyes are turned downward? They're always turned downward? Why?

What color High-Vis Post for clear, sunny water?

I can’t see the fly anyway in the water so why bother with a color? I just look for where a fish rises and set the hook. Sometimes it works some time it doesn’t. That’s fishing.

    Puget Sound

The boulder field. The beach seems extra rocky this year in general. The sand hasn’t built up against our ramp like it has in past years.

    Puget Sound

I’m very late to the game this year. The neighbors bulkhead made of boulders is crumbling and has scatter 2 man size rocks in the way of me launching my boat. But I walked out to my dad’s honey hole and cast a few before I got trapped by the tide. Had a few grabs. Nothing more to report.

    Clouser Deep Minnow

I think the Clouser is my number one fly I tie. It's easy and effective. Mike, I think those unweighted eyes are cool. Do you flies ride point up when you fish them?

    NFR Bull Frogs

I've often thought that the invasive species should be targeted with fishing and hunting. I've never thought about fly fishing for bull frogs though. I don't think I could stomach the screaming when hooked, as others have mentioned.

    Sammamish Sturgeon?

That would have been cool to see. I’ve heard there are some in Lake Washington. Seen stories over the years of mysterious creatures surfacing on the lake, think of the Loch Ness Monster of Lake Washington. I would have assumed it may have been a sturgeon.
