    A bit of fly fishing reading

    I've just started reading The History of Fly-Fishing in Fifty Flies by Ian Whitelaw. Picked it up on Amazon for about $15, and so far has been an enjoyable read, and insight into old gear and flies. Some of the flies I want to try and tie. Blae and black is on the list for sure.

    Just helped redo my mother's garden boxes, the 2x12s finally rotted out after 15+ years so now its freshly done and ready for planting, the first round of peas are coming up, need to get the trellis frames back up soon

    First attempt at an adams, basically attempt 2 cut the material free from the first try when I accident snipped the thread when trying to get a hackle trimmed. So far this has probably been the toughest one to try and do for me so far

    Today's learning is Griffith's Gnat. Easy to learn hard to master. But super simple and fun

    Thank you ill keep that in mind for next time, I enjoyed tying it and plan to buy more hooks and such to tie up more of the early ones I did especially the ones I enjoyed
