Yes, but... These lakes need vetting, some carry brookies that people love to fish. Examples are Leech Lake and Lost Lake (Okanogan) and I'm sure there are more. One size does not fit all in most cases.

82 years old and have mostly fished solo for 40+ years. Fished 49 days last year, would have done more but they closed the road to Leech Lake all of Sep. last year. I used to fish all waters, loved the little blue lines. Age compromised that about 10 years ago and I now am a stillwater...

Brian, the 10' rods cast bobber gear better and lift quicker but, beware, they are hard on the hands/wrists. I'm older (80 something) and I had to go back to 9' because of arthritis pain.

I had a similar experience. They lost my waders I sent in for repair and replaced them with a new pair. Quality product, quality organization.

Having cast these beasts (and 12w and 14w), I suggest Sage as well. 10w is on the edge of castability (12w is there and 14w is beyond). You need to shop/try a bunch of makers. I used Sage but that was some years ago and things have changed so I have no current recommendations for a rod/maker...
