    I am thinking about heading over to visit my sons in Pullman and then spending a couple days on the the St Joe the second week of April. What can I expect for water and fishing conditions this time of year? Thanks in advance for your input.

    I was warned that there are dangerous sharks and orcas off Whidbey, so I never go SRC fishing. Now you tell me there are dangerous rattlers lining the banks of the St Joe, so I can't go cutthroat fishing over there now, too. :cry: I'm sad for me.

    I am heading over to the St Joe for the first time next week, and I'll figure it all out, including camping, when I get there. Both my boys are at WSU, so I'll get a chance to see them on the way over.

    Advice needed... An old friend from Chicago sent me a Sage XP 10' 6wt. He built it up probably 15 years ago as a switch rod. I guess you'd call it a trout spey now.
