What's in your cast iron tonight?

@Bagman, I think all you need to do is re-reason the pan. The rust can be removed by hand ( coarse salt and half an apple, sandpaper, steel wool etc.) or if its really bad, some people use drills with the wire brush adapters. There are also various soaks some people use but Ive never done...

    Dumped Rod

Maybe get some "Mini Skater Retractable Cord Key Rings" Off Amazon. About a dollar apiece. Carabiner one to each side of the boat. When not using the rod, wrap the cord around the rod a few times, near the reel and then back onto itself. You wont lose a rod ever again. Phil Rowley is who...

Solo trip to the dry side...

I should add that it is legal to float in to that section and fish it. If you float in you just can’t legally cross the railroad tracks to say camp at the campground or use the restrooms. Pathetic.

Solo trip to the dry side...

FWIW, I checked with BLM Recreation Manager for the South Junction area about 3 months ago. It is still illegal to cross the Railroad Tracks, from the campground. Burlington Northern Railroad Police are the enforcing agency. Total Drag as that was a very special area to me late 80’s to early...

Lance. Another great idea. Back in the early 80;s I used my old High Top Cons for that. May do it again if I cant come up with a better idea. They take a beating. Decently grippy too. Thanks. Bob
