    Etiquette/Manners Question.

You need to pretty much expect anything these days and just be ready to deal with it. I personally wouldn’t get too worked over a bass spot, but I would usually just move on, it’s not worth getting into it with dog people, they are fucking crazy to the core.

    Stilliguamish system closure 10/9

Where does all the money go? I don’t understand why it’s so expensive to open a river to CnR or fly fishing only.

    SFR Testing the waters - 2000 F250 Lariat 4x4 7.3L Powerstroke - low miles

Man I would love that truck! Problem is I got a 2010 Silverado with 90K miles for less than half that over 4 years ago. Diesel is amazing for towing but the cost difference is way waaaaaaaaay beyond worth it. You need to absolutely need it to and it worthwhile.

    NFR Swordfish

Swordfish are one of my favorite fish! I have about 4 shirts with them on it. Watch ultimatefishingtv to see some crazy swords and learn about them. Several episodes have them attacking the boat and swinging at anglers leaning over the boat. They are mysterious fish that spend much of their...

Excellent point and this is the root of what I dislike most about WDFW.

    Stilli opener delayed

It so depressing how far the Stilly has fallen from its glory years especially considering my comrades and I were just throwing bugs there and not even attempting chinook on purpose. Why would you go for brown chinook when you can get a steelhead? To make matters worse, one of my best friends...

WDFW did not request funding for a 2027 Skagit-Sauk season

The big secret is that WDFW has a project they haven’t revealed yet. That is where our money is going. WDFW has been building a new river and designing some brand new fish species for us to catch! Some say this will be the finest river in the state and these new fish will fight and jump like...

Reflections from the end of my first long term relationship

There was this nude beach I used to go to around there, must be the same place. Flounder fishing was so good it was hard to put my clothes back on.

    Getting bled dry

This is late stage capitalism. They bleed us dry at every turn. Costs aren’t honestly represented. They want to squeeze every single drop of economy out of us. It’s really sad how our society has even allowed this. We should have been voting with our wallets a long time ago. I don’t even eat out...

    Grady-White owner donating the company

That’s neat! Too bad they still don’t have a table to sit at in a $200K+ boat. I like purpose built fishing boats but a 28’ Sailfish having 2 seats under cover is a little preposterous.

    Marblemount to Rockport

The only sketchy areas are Big Eddy and Little Eddy. They have some serious hydraulics. The first one you ride the linear flow slick between the giant swirls, don’t row too much just keep the boat pointed downstream. The next one is Big Eddy and you come down a long run pretty fast that spears a...

    Invasive American Bullfrogs

They will eat anything that fits in their mouths including each other. I hatched a bunch of bull frog eggs in a tank as a child and learned a lot about survival of the fittest.
