Tiemco used to make a bend back hook the would work for these patterns but they are no longer made and the hooks I used are for bass flies and they are light wire.

Getting close to finishing this project it’s been more work than I thought. Replaced the ceiling used sugar pine for crown molding, window casing, base molding and refloored with vinyl flooring. Built finishing table and I will need to set up rod turners and attach the node presses to the bench.

Just take the foot and reinsert it and use some UV to tack it in place. And then at the end of the season send it in for repair. Also this is an easy repair if you have the equipment. If you want get the thread that matches and I can repair it for you but my costs are scary😀

Depending on the hide I will put paper towels with the hide up and then use phone books or something with some weight to hold it down. Also some times I will staple them down. Recently I dyed some JC skins and the shrunk some but by putting weight on them they stayed flat.
