NFR Shark Bite plumbing connectors Good or Bad

Had to replace a number of old valves in the plumbing in my house. Did like 9 in 2 hours. It’s only been a year but no issues yet!

What do you cut wire with?

Side cutters (tho I see maybe I’ve been calling them the wrong name cause others say diagonal cutters). Still using the cutters but for brushes, one way is to wrap as much as you want, then kinda pull back some and pull the material out of the brush or trim it close. Then tie off on the wire...

    SA siege comparable line?

You may like a SA mastery titan. I prefer the titan long tho. Also at 240grab for the head weight or the grain (first 30’ of line) weight? Regardless you’d be looking at either a 6wt or 7wt in those lines. Hope you find something that ya like

How do you secure bead chain "eyes" or lead barbells eyes to a hook shank?

I do the same thing process except I use zap thin at the end (no first dab)

Waders - The awesome, the bad, the leaky

Durability and fit are importantly to me and often these go hand in hand. I like the orvis as the calf and ankle area are a little bigger to allow for layering and fleece pants more easily (which is when I typically wear waders).

Waders - The awesome, the bad, the leaky

I tend to roll with 2 pairs (one older and one slightly newer). The patagucci’s I have are still holding up decently well but I’ve also been using the orvis pro for a bit and they have been great. A little warm but that doesn’t bother me as I mostly wear waders as needed, not all year.

    Clouser Deep Minnow

Love this thread cause I love this fly. So good how variable you can make em… bucktail, synthetic, on different style hooks, etc etc. I fished Bob one time and he was a super nice guy, real enjoyable to spend a day with. I never asked for a fly at the end of the day and still kick myself for it!

    What's in your vise?

Half way through making some new heads. I think this counts as fly tying or do I need to wait til I put the tails on?
