Port Ludlow Fly Fishers held a garage sale this summer and there was an absolute ton of stuff. I bought streamer hooks and materials, but I wanted to share the feathers, and particularly, the storage system a former commercial fly tier had developed for his hackle. I bought all they had left...

A little high still at 62-65ish but the nights are cooling down a lot starting this week

I got away from home this week to fish a not-so-secret lake in Central Washington. It’s just a beautiful setting and a great place to try out my Spratley aluminum Jon boat. I also enjoyed fishing alongside another member that I’ve seen here and at Pass Lake. Yesterday the wind cranked up to...

I wasn’t planning on it until I got them all secured and they are very solid in the brackets. But really, there is no reason to try it, other than….. well, there really is no reason 🤪

This summer I purchased a 10’ Spratley Jon boat. It was a bare boat, and while it does fit in my truck bed, it’s damn heavy & I needed a trailer to tow it behind the Alaskan Camper. I found a small King trailer nearby, converted it to carry a Jon boat, replaced the bearings and tires and...

I’mpreparing to sell my 8’ Classic SCP, because I purchased a tin boat, and it was still hard for me to not go pick up this boat. 😀

A single seat Hopper II. Looks very well cared for and includes the original 7’ oars. https://www.facebook.com/share/19grxuPQWn/?mibextid=wwXIfr It’s in Richland, and for those that don’t use FB: it’s $1100

Maybe you’ve run into this post in one of the FB Puget Sound fishing groups? A member assembles it and shares it. I’ve only made it out twice in the boat, taking guests downrigger fishing in area 9. Once the last weekend in August, and again last weekend. Lots of Coho around in Area 9...

I will be selling a Soring Creek Classic if you know someone 😆

Hey… wrong guy Steve 😂

This Jeep is in California?

Bump! And if there is a second reel available, I am also on the lookout to pair with a 4711 LL

Yes, and the termites’ should be coming along soon!

I was there mid-June for two days of fishing. My most effective was a Kelly Gallop streamer pattern, Barely Legal. It’s an articulated streamer recommended by Waters West. I fished a type VI line. Across the lake from Log Cabin was a good shoreline to work. There are several shoals and I’ve...

I fished the three days in area 9. It was a mad house of boats. I was trolling downriggers with Dad and boat company. The Chinook were feeding but there is no relaxing fishing days or time to enjoy fishing a different method. It was get your fish and get out of there. The PA newspaper...

I’m late to this good deal boat thread, but wanted to say…. I hope your health continues to improve and you’re able to do whatever it is you want, very soon. I am in Port Townsend, if you have a desire to get out in these marine waters. Jeff

Hey ‘Boot, is this the same lake? I spent a couple nights and fished in June. Delightful way to spend a weekend.

I was driving through the area and it was wicked. Lots of rain in our location too. Years back I had my 18’ boat tied up at Wapato Pt in Chelan. A storm came through that sunk many boats. Mooring lines broke and boats were free drifting and bouncing of other boats all night long. It was a...
