A good guard is a LOT harder to defend than a good post player and you can’t keep the ball out of their hands. They are the best athletes on the floor operating in the greatest space.

That High Point game with Arkansas was so entertaining. Those two guards trading blows all night long was fun to watch. I believe really good interior play can win you a lot of regular season games but the tournament is all about guard play. The teams with the best guards tend to win the most...
