great boats. have always been interested in them.
the pictures remind of my frsit boat which was a 14 glasply with bench seat and one continuous windshield.
manual start 40 horse evinrude on the back and penn downriggers.
biggest king was 23 lbs
planning on heading to Chopaka the week of 5/18 for a few days.
would appreciate any updates on road conditions, lake levels, crowds, etc.
local lake report: Shady Lake.
went out yesterday afternoon and trolled some leeches/buggers on sinking lines.
ended up catching and releasing about 9...
nice job staying for a few days. the lake typically fishes well this time of year.
have not seen a FF Club in there for years.
did not looked crowded.
I'm a few weeks out still. it was more than a cold.

arrived at 8:30 to about 6 rigs in the lot and Wind!
we were not expecting that. and even though the sun was out, it was cold.
we geared up and started fishing. the wind stayed up till almost noon and by that time I was at the west side of the lake.
we were catching fish, but not big numbers...
my buddy and I will be there tomorrow. hoping other people are there too.
the lake has been fishing really well.
weather looks just fine.
I'll post a report later.
