    Edge Rods Sale

Gonna take me at LEAST that long to figure out how to cast a 15wt broomstick.

FINALLY, a rod beefy enough to cast @Billy ’s largemouth flies!

    Caddis Nevada Opinions and Reviews

That said, it sure doesn't SEEM like those tubes are at Costco this season. At least not those in Western WA/OR.

    Caddis Nevada Opinions and Reviews

@Old406Kid, did you end up looking into these any further? In an older thread @Sir Homey mentions that, in his opinion, the Outcast Summit is more or less a copy of the Caddis Nevada. https://pnwflyfishing.com/forum/index.php?threads/outcast-osg-summit-float-tube.6286/post-145276 No idea if...

    Bamboo and wild rainbows.

Old thread, but one worth bumping even for my silly question. @Dave Westburg what do you wear with those fins? Boots? Just wader stocking feet?

Can we have a blue gill thread?

Pond gills on poppers. One of my favorite ways to fish. If I ever tire of them, I hope someone gives me a swift punch in the gut and tells me to get my head out of my ass.

Why in the world does WA still have paper-only fishing licenses?

Could be this for sure. Large organizations (govt, private, etc) all seem to get sucked into complicated supply chain processes that cause problems. But I also wonder if that amazon paper is not the same stuff that the WDFW license printing machine uses. I feel like the license paper is a lot...

Life getting in the way of fishing... sigh

I have had more than a few excellent sessions because I packed along a rod and a handful of flies for a work trip. Sadly, the trip next week has a tightly packed schedule and is also in a location with virtually zero accessible water options. But you're not wrong in general.

Life getting in the way of fishing... sigh

What's the deal with work, kids, parents, pets, chores, maintenance, and the rest of life getting in the way of fishing? I have been getting shafted by life over the past few weeks. The weather is glorious, the gear is ready, fish are starting to be active... Josh is busy dealing with some...

NFR Cleaning a mini split WHO HAS ADVICE?

Has anyone done their own deep cleaning of a mini split? Videos like this one don't make it seem that difficult (famous last words). I have a battery powered pressure washer of appropriate power. But I'd need to track down the correct cleaning product and one of those bib kits. The SpeedClean...

Anyone have a salmon chowder recipe they like?

    @Mossback & @Matt B Much appreciated! Makes sense.

Anyone have a salmon chowder recipe they like?

True. But I suspect any acid would cause the same curdling of the dairy. Unless there's some magic method that I'm not aware of to avoid that.

As the weather starts to improve, who is daydreaming about fishing‽

I had a long and detailed dream the other night about losing a giant largemouth to a river-style logjam. Now, that water and logjam was also somehow in the gym of my kids' school and the bell was ringing for class. Not sure what was up with that. Dreams are weird.

Gotta be some way to get you a fish or two before then. I mean, my bass boat has old-man comfy casting seats I can set up for gimpy injured folks...

As the weather starts to improve, who is daydreaming about fishing‽

Okay, let's be clear, I've lived in the PNW my entire life and I'm well aware of our multiple false spring/summer phases. Just because the sun is out this week doesn't mean we don't have inches of rain ahead before the nice weather takes hold. That said. about this time each year our wet and...
