every state/local gov, should be working with the same business system. these folks all have different systems, and nobody knows how they work - with turnover, etc. local control does not provide the oversight folks think it does.

so the bamboo 'strips' just sit in the groove, while you plane or scrape them? i would think they would move??

try 5 C's boat covers in vancouver wa. i got a drifboat cover from them a couple years ago, and it is going strong. robust. they come with some nice rubber rope that you customize to pull it tight over the boat, down to trailer.

maybe put a spinner blade on that thing??

i think a course/class would be a good idea. i would also find some place just to learn, or relearn , how to row. rent a rowboat on a lake, and just put in some time. good rowing is technique. practice how to use both oars to turn boat around, etc. once you are on a river you want to be to the...

for a nice pdx spot, there is the kennedy school mcmenamins in NE pdx - not far from airport. food is ok - but the place is great to walk thru, and beer is ok. i like Wonderly up on NE fremont. its a small bar, with limited but good menu/food.

been down 3 times now. have not seen anything deeper than.... maybe a few inches. 6 at most. and u dont drive at night = free range steers are the problem, then potholes.

sprinter guy here. not 200k though. broke both rear shock mount bolts..... ended up driving the 10 hrs up to yuma on the way home to get fixed. could have got it done down there, it would have just took longer. i added a new part for the fix, and that would have been more of a challenge to...
