On my fishing shirts there is a microfiber cloth sewn inside the shirt tail.

I'd think it might remove any mirroring and hydrophobic coatings from the lenses. Probably hard on painted frames. Stick with a microfiber cloth and alcohol based cleaners. If they are really gunked up a little grease cutting dish soap in warm water has worked well for me.

Edit: looks like this is currently where you are anyway. If you're not going overnight or in high wind, I'd buy a 15-20lb like this Anchor. I've had good luck with the small size for lake fishing. Nice thing is they don't require as much scope as Fluke style anchors to be effective.
