We have two osprey pairs terrorizing the catchable trout population at Devils Lake. Typically we have a pair that shows about the time the trout food supply arrives. This is the first year that we've seen a second pair.

I took this photo through one of the windows at our office which was located at Shasta Valley Wildlife Area in Northern California. We had an "office bobcat" and she brought her kittens around from time to time. We watched her and her litters for 4 or 5 years before I retired.

It looks like it’s fizzling on the Oregon side. There has been too much cloudiness in the Willamette Valley which has tamped down instability. We did have some thunder and heavy rain on the coast. It still looks active on the Washington side.
