Personal Floatation pontoon boat for fishing. 7 1/2 ft. Water Skeeter. With anchoring system, oars, stripping apron, rod holder, gear bags, plate for electric motor, anchor rope, and gear platform. DIY anchor included. Light enough for a 78 year old man to carry. I would keep but have no...

    Your Fathers Knife

My Dad had the exact knife. Classic. I do the same rawhide tensioning safety system on my knives. Thats the only drawback to that style of sheath, IMHO. Thanks for the Memories. HAGD. Bob

DIY cargo storage hacks for pontoons?

@downriver79, Any pics on what you ended up doing? Ive recently come into possession of an older Fishcat 9 myself. I am in need of storage bags, for the side rails. I probably will pony up and buy the Qutcast, "Deluxe Cargo Pocket" setup but am open to less costly ideas. Thank you in...

Any Outcast Fish Cat 9 Owners out there? I have a few questions.

Thank you @Haggis57, Yeah I called and talked to Chris, at Outcast, last Thursday. He's been there 20 years and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently answered my questions for about 20 minutes. What pleasure it was for me. The seat question wasn't on my radar or I would have...

Any Outcast Fish Cat 9 Owners out there? I have a few questions.

@Stonedfish, Thanks for the info. Any recommended foam seat cushions? I was just going to cut a piece of a CCF pad to shape but I am open to other possibilities. Haven't tried the oars yet. The boat also came with a set of one piece, 7 foot, wood oars. If I use those though, Ill have to...

Any Outcast Fish Cat 9 Owners out there? I have a few questions.

Hey all. Due to the generosity, of an older gentleman, who has aged out of the Pontoon scene, I am the new owner of a well maintained, used, Outcast, Fish Cat 9, not the 9IR. I have a few question(s), for any current/former owner(s), of the Fish Cat 9 or the Fish Cat 9IR. Please keep in...

    Superglue

May be well known but if someone is new, when done tying with Superglue-like products or Aquaseal, Shoe Goop etc., rub some Chapstick or Vaseline, onto the threaded cap. Before doing so, of course, clean off the threads. This helps immensely when opening the cap, for the next tying session.

    How many rod outfits.?

Hey @Jim in Anacortes, Made some "Tacos" last nite. Im gonna use them for holding rod pieces together and also for covering multiple dropper flies, keeping them from catching on me or a million other things. I lay my fully assembled, Lake Rods, horizontal, on my carpeted side trays, when...

    Head cement

@Greenbuttskunk, For me it was red, itchy skin after the last 3 or 4 tying sessions. The turning point for me, came after a 3 hour tying spree. The red, itchy skin oozed fluid, then scabbed up once that stopped, which after a full day of that unpleasantness. Called it good. Like I...

    How many rod outfits.?

Thank you @Old406Kid, I think I will use these in conjunction with @Jim in Anacortes idea of the reel "Taco". I already use these inside my truck, for holding the broke down rod together. I lay it assembled across my dashboard, between spots. Happy New Year Bob
