Just got back from a quick birding trip in Los Cabos, Mexico. Saw so many incredible birds. Here’s a few: Blue-footed Boobies Yellow-footed Gull American Kestrel Long-billed Curlew Black-necked Stilts Juvenile White Ibis Gila Woodpecker Snowy Egret Cactus Wren Crested Caracara

It’s interesting that this Common Crane is taking so much longer to confirm than the one that visited Skagit valley a few years ago.

Nice! I managed to get down to Skagit to see the first one in 2021. I saw the report come through the other day on this one. I’ve haven’t seen that it’s been confirmed yet, I know there was some discussion about it being a possible hybrid. Cool too see either way.

Looks like a varied thrush on top of the feeder. I’ve been hearing lots of reports of them in Western Washington this week.
