in a box, over 24" in length ? i have shipped many tubes/boxes, and once they get over 24" they put the hammer down on price.

I just bought a smaller drill press from Equipment Sales and Surplus up in Auburn Wa. they sell equipment that is damaged in shipment. powermatic, jet tools, and maybe a couple other makers. I bought a drill press sigth unseen, and drove up from pdx to pickup. it was still in box - box...

hopefully its a balance. i banked enough working, that now retired, i can do most things i would like to do - and have the health to do. the big C took a swing at me out of the blue, and luckily i got past it. u never know - work your ass off, and health crap comes out of nowhere... i am not...
