This looks exactly like the stripping basket I bought at a fly shop 6 years ago. Mine also has the neck strap which helps keep the basket sitting flat. I am not sure it makes a difference, but I am not very tall, so I use it. Anyway, I paid $58 for it or $63 with tax. I was shocked to see that...

I agree, sadly there is not much reason to go in the area anymore. I shopped at all those places on occasion. Used to buy my fishing license from Linc’s Tackle, birthday cakes from Borracchini’s, fresh fish and shellfish from Mutual Fish and pepperoni ends and pieces from Oberto back in the...

    Well crap....

Assuming the Versa has COLLISION COVERAGE, it covers any property damage for the plaintiff. It would be up to the claims rep and the Versa’s insurance company to reimburse for “Loss of Use” only if the trailer or boat needed repair time in a shop.

First Hike With the Boy - "Hopeless Lake"

Your story reminded me when I used to take my son out hiking and camping when he was a boy. He’s in his mid 20’s now and loves to hike and camp with his friends. Most likely your son will do this in his future.

Lake fishing - leashed or unleashed?

No leash, tried one @28 years ago for a few lake outings in my u boat (float tube) and it was too much of a hassle. When resting or changing flues, my rod is in my pontoon boat’s rod holder.
