SFR New used truck - potentially

I just looked at sequioas. They are hybrid now with a battery box bump around the back seat. It made a giant vehicle basically unusable. They got space for 6 people but luggage for 2. I don't know if highlanders have a similar save taking bump in their back area.

    Brisket secrets

AF talks about a specific size of coarse ground pepper. Did you source that and from where? I hope this thread really gets some legs. If I could pick my last meal before I kick the bucket it would be Franklin's fatty brisket.

SFR New used truck - potentially

I'm a Ram guy. I recently was looking into a new truck and none of the big 4 full size trucks could match the Ram with the cummins diesel so I'm keeping my old Ram. One of the advantages of buying a used car is looking back at owner service records, OEM dealer records especially for anything...

A couple '26 goals: fish new spots and catch new species - Pyramid Lake

You are missing a beer cupholder! Can you have 2 rods rigged differently but only fish one at a time and just have a one rod stamp or if you bring out 2 rods you need 2 stamps? I have 3 stripping baskets each condition specific. They make a real difference. I think march is a good...

Subi's are great! My wife and daughter both have outbacks. They used to drive BMW's. But like all new cars subi has the big bespoke infotainment systems. My daughter's 2019 subi has a infotainment system on the way out. It probably costs more than the car is worth to fix it if the part is...

Looks like someone has a nice seat on his ladder. Must be a frequent flyer to the lake? When I show up my ladder will still have the price tag on and everyone will know I'm a newbie.

Well they all got problems just different ones. The 2019 5.0 coyotes +/- a couple years were oil burners yet the 1st weekend I bought the mustang I broke it in on the track and flogged it before I gutted it to make a racecar. That car was run harder than 99% of mustangs and just took it...

SFR New used truck - potentially

I'm a truck, exotic, and racecar builder kinda guy who raced a then newly built 2019 mustang GT with the gen 3 coyote motor. My Ram Diesel 4x4 mega cab tows, goes skiing, and any trail to get to fishing waters. I recently, looked at Fords and impressed with the ecoboost for light truck duty...

What is amazing to me living in california with a mountain of environmental restrictions that effect me every day while our state government is hostile to fossil fuel industry causing them to leave the state. Our state government's answer is to import 40% of our oil from the east coast via...

    Switch Rod or Not?

I think you need to learn your targets and pick tools accordingly. A switch rod works perfectly and you can always back up. In fact doing so results in more fish caught close. I'll target SoCal corbina that are caught right in the skinny water with both 2 hand and SH rods. SH tires me out...

    Snow Shred Season 2025 - 2026

Was in Mammoth last week. Snow was only 5ft base to 7ft at top but did not see any brown on runs with near 100% open. We were completely surprised by awesome April weather but cold hard pack snow of great quality. I suspect freshwater stream fishing is going to have to be done early this season.
