I am not sure what license I will need in September to fish the Clearwater river for steelhead. I see a non resident 3 day Salmon/ Steelhead license that includes the general fishing license. Is that the only one I need?

I was taught to point the rod at the target, lift and just pivot into the backcast. It was simpler than the traditional, which I also crashed my leader too.

Wear a porcupine skin cap. Only a real woodsman would have one, but sure keeps the bears and cougars from giving you that deadly neck bite.

I had some Flexcoat epoxy that was crystallizing and had to warm it up in hot tap watet to get back to liquid. I wonder if it would work the same on gorilla glue unless it is completely solid.
