@Dave Boyle sorry for the thread drift here. This is Salmon Lake on Douglas Ranch, correct? If so, how far is the drive from Salmon to say Stoney and Minnie? I fished Stoney about 40 years ago before the lodge was built there have been thinking I need to get back up there again in the future...

Looks like Idaho panhandle as well as eastern Oregon and Washington might get some active weather on Thursday. Hopefully it’s nothing severe. SF

Sliding it into the bed would likely be the easiest if it is light enough. Though you might not need it, you could also get a bed extender. Putting it on top can be a pain in the ass. SF

I may be wrong but I believe they use different tube materials, vinyl vs urethane. At least they used to on older models. The material covering the tubes might also be different. SF
