I also was told from a wdfw biologist the last two plant years at reiter with low steelhead stocking they were rearing chinook there as well. We may not have much of a season next year to protect those chinook coming back.

Ya mine is the ~4' version. The seated versions are 7 & 8'. If I can find a line that works, I think it would be great for the creek in my backyard that has 6" cutties.

I was given a TFO bug launcher office rod. Rod doesnt have a seat for a reel. Also came with no line. Looks like the line is just yarn. Anyone practiced with these? Im also interested in trying to fish 1# water with this but have no idea what line i could use (maybe tenkara?). Suggestions welcome!

I mean a freezer full of coho works for me just fine and is much more fun to aquire.

Honestly not a huge fan of it/trolling in general. Inline flashers &/or 6oz cannon balls take a lot of the feel out of the fight. Running bait is a dirty business I avoid when I can. Its effective though and getting greenhorns into fish or getting a few sockeye for the BBQ can get me out.

Fish will be cought. Limits will be tough.

Carbs suck. Have a '68 stang ive been battling the carb on half-assedly for the last two years.

The answer is they would fund steelhead the same by pulling non allocated funding away from steelhead for other uses.

Im actually a bit concerned based on experience and declining positive reports about overharvest this year. Seems like they got hard to target as the season went on.

A bit silly from the Wallace to the big eddy is closed all season. Some really nice water in that stretch.
