    Suggestion needed

Shoot, really sorry to hear it - but I bet it was a hell of a journey! Project Healing Waters might be good to touch base with if you're wanting to donate it.

Issue with Breaking Off Second Fly

Exactly what I was thinking. I switched to a yolk a few years back and love it. Less tangles and it's a breeze to setup. Maybe give that a try and see if it solves your problem.

    The original knife thread.

I recently sent one of my benchmades back to them for a factory edge reset. It had developed a fairly nasty rough spot and I was curious how the program worked. For $10, they send all the packaging, just drop your knife in and drop off at a fed ex. It took about 2.5 weeks to get it back, but...

Waders - The awesome, the bad, the leaky

Yep. Very good ones. But they are (as expected) also very expensive. Kuiu makes waders too, but I don't know anything about them, and they don't use Gore Tex (they're all Toray), which turns me off. I have a lot of trust in Gore Tex.

Waders - The awesome, the bad, the leaky

Don't sleep on Sitka. Agreed the. My beef w/ them is the shoulder strap design....the pair I have the shoulder straps don't buckle/unbuckle - have to take the rain jacket off to pee...just a ridiculous oversight IMO.

FS Mystery Ranch Metcalf 70L Multicam

What bow hook is that? PS for those that like the high lakes, the load shelf on these things is super easy to use and a great way to carry a packraft or float tube deep into the hills. And these things are built like tanks. I beat the shit out of both of mine and they're both still doing great.

Favorite recipes for basic store bought fish...

If I'm feeling lazy, this is the quick hitter for salmon. It's what I'm having for lunch today. Cover the slab w/ this and onto the pellet grill (or however you wanna cook it). Easy peezy lemon squeezy.

Type III head for a 4wt switch rod?

You could grab a 60 gr. OPST micro tip. Type 4, but Id bet it lasts longer than a poly leader.

I 100% get that. The wrist strap on my carter release - same way. If the wrist strap cord wasn't on I felt like I couldn't take the shot - created some missed opportunities. Until after one of those I cut the damn cord once and for all. Problem solved.
