I like Dimebrite have a family history of heart disease. My father had double bypass surgery at 59 and will be turning 90 in a few weeks. Since I like to fish alpine lakes and as a result do some pretty strenuous hikes. For peace of mind for myself and mt family plus not wanting to have a...

    High Lakes

One of the things I like least about the wilderness lite tube is the valves. They just suck. I've been thing about if for a long time and I will probably do it soon is to cut a hole in the opposite storage pouch from the one with the stock valve. Cut a hole in the cover to accommodate a...

    High Lakes

For me it all boils down to a weight proposition. While I'm not totally a weight weenie but I'm not getting any younger and all those lakes are up hill. So I look at my route (distance and elevation gain) and make a decision. My pack raft is 2 lb vs 3lb wilderness lite tube plus waders and...

YOLO! - FlyBillz' First Bamboo Build

Mike, has anyone made a tool to hold a router that would slide along the forms and remove most of the material in a single pass? Also about the planning forms, are they a set with one for the top and one for the but section? Or do you have to adjust the forms for each rod section? For hollow...

Clearly my phone can take great pictures but I appear not to be traveling to such lovely picturesque locals as Muknuk. In all seriousness, muknuk are you using the “Apple” camera controls or a photo app that offers more control?

    Wanted Hareline Pearl Diamond Braid

I agree with the product picture possibly not being updated. But it sure looks like the gold-colored braid. Have you tried calling or emailing Hareline directly? Maybe sending them a picture of what you got with packaging and who knows they could send you the correct stuff hareline@hareline.com

SFR New used truck - potentially

It's about to the point of looking for clean rust-free older trucks for rebuild for those times you need a truck. To meet modern mileage requirements, durability is taking a back seat. I know my 2020 taco recommends 0-20 motor oil that I assume is to eke out a bit more mpg. I run a bit heaver...
