Heard Dave Whitlock passed away on thanksgiving from a stroke. Great guy and fly tier. Had some great patterns in the Rainy's catalog.

Lapakahi is off limits to fishing. Snorkeling there is great tons of fish. High tides early in the morning this week but lots of bones around, at the North Kona spots.

Tried to find a picture of the view from the Halape toilet in Volcanoes national park. Could only find Apua point. If you have been there then you know the view was spectacular. That last pic reminded me of that view.

Bummer on the ulua but the take must have been awesome. Does Brando’s kid use his flies or yours. Still curious if he uses the worm fly. If it is raining might as well fish, they are already wet.
