Awesome Dogs of PNW

She knows it's Thursday, it's afternoon, and all I gotta do is say "Wanna go see ..vet techs name" and she goes and sits by her collar and leash station. After a year + she's got this IV routine down. These folks are great.

Mine is thought to be around 8 years old. She was born feral and captured by the local humane society at about 6 months.

We’ve had her for 7.5 years and sometimes we still have to coax her into the house with treats

I am watching Dog Groomers on YouTube. Some of them broke my heart because the dogs are not accustomed to grooming.

Yeah, I almost returned mine twice in the first few months cuz it was overwhelming. But now, other than a few quirks, she’s just like any other pup. She loves getting brushed and will even allow me to clean her teeth with dental tools.

I’ve watched that or a similar dog groomer on Youtube with my son, but I’ve only seen the fun ones….like a puppy’s first groom.

Heck, after watching the gal wash and take a heavy duty blow drier to a husky, I took mine for a spa day, hoping she’d maybe not shed for a while.

Two days later it was if she’d never been to the groomer…but it sure would have been a hoot to see my pup with goggles on and maybe howl at the air hose 😎
