What's in your (PIZZA) oven?

First time ever putting pineapple on a pizza in the Gozney (don't shoot me, it was upon request from my 7-yo grandson). The pineapple really let loose with the juice. For some reason this crust experiment went crazy on one edge and puffed up like mad on one corner. Still working on making a cohesive circle (same thing with my sweep, lift, and forward cast with a 2-hander:). But, I'd taken the Christmas hambone/leftovers out to make a bean soup this week, and thought that a little ham pizza may be good also. All in all, it tasted pretty yummy, despite the pineapple!

We also did a bbq chicken pizza which turned out really good to my surprise, with just off the shelf Sweet Baby Rays and Costco pulled rotisserie chicken, in addition to the standard margharitas.

My only regret in this "clean out the fridge" pizza party was I didn't use any of the leftover smoked brisket we had. Has anyone tried brisket on a pizza?

As usual, taking pics was hard when it was showtime. But the Diavola was the star of the show. The Salsiccia (the one with Italian sausage and potato with white sauce) the biggest surprise. Both going into the regular rotation.

Got to test my father's day gift finally. I was gifted a pizza steel for the home oven. For the initial test I cheated and used TJ's dough and kept it easy with simple toppings. Pretty impressed with the results. Love my OONI, love my Lloyds pan for deep dish, but this really got me excited in regards to my journey towards making a NY style pizza. I obsessed over the OONI and that Neapolitan style for a few years. Still love it, just excited to explore new ways. Glad to add this to the arsenal and the fam was very happy with the end result. Next round I'll be trying out different dough recipes.
