That was my experience as well. Was thinking river left would be the way to go. Will be interested what this looks like at low water. For some reason I love that stretch.
Would love that! I'm probably gonna stay away until the flip-flop in September, if only because those high flows scare me a bit! I may be up there this weekend fishing the freestone trib that flows in just below the State boat launch.
