Hey y’all, I’m a grad student studying Marketing at PLU in Tacoma. I also happen to be an avid fly fisherman. As part of my larger final research project I wanted to see if anyone would be willing to take my 8-10 minute survey (linked here) on fly fishing products/media preferences. First, Marketing is deciding whom to sell what to. Sales is getting it done and Merchandising is the stuff required to get it done.

I couldn't get past the third page since there's no ability to choose more than one option. I shop small businesses locally, online, and occasionally by phone.

The creator of the survey appears rather narrow minded or very young and wedded to his cell phone. There are a lot of time intervals between "several times a week" and "never." Unless he is directing all his marketing at the under 30 demographic, the survey questions should be re-worked. A lot.

Or....he has a reason he made it more narrow scoped. May have to do with the fact it's for a research project that may have some guidance or parameters unknown to us.

That was odd to me too so I ticked 'No Preference'
