Saw this on FB. Very cool. I've never met Michelle, but I follow her from afar and she seems like a really neat lady and someone Id enjoy meeting sometime. I'll have to pay this shop a visit sometime.

She's awesome! I have know here for a while and am excited for her! She's currently hosting a trip at Christmas Island, so I'll head over and see her in a few weeks. I'm enjoying spending time over in Cle Elum and on the Yakima.. and next Wednesday I'm heading out to Prosser to visit Betz Family Winery, well there production facility and hang out with my friend Louis Skinner who is the wine maker.. he took over from Bob Betz years ago.. we might even go fishing, as I'm going to teach him how to fly fish!

And yes, this is the town where Northern Exposure was filmed, for the exterior shots at least!

Cool old building... hope they do well.
The shop has actually been in Cle Elum since 2013! I had never heard about it, and I know all, or thought I did, fly shops in the area. It was in a few different locations I guess, and owned by a guy, name Guy! LOL!

I've met Michelle several times, fished with her once on an SRC trip she donated to the Coastal Cutthroat Coalition auction. She's a fun lady - has done a lot for the flyfishing community!
Will definitely be stopping by next time I run out I90

I'm thinking of camping at Salmon La Sac, on Friday night, if anyone is interested! Just let me know here! Would be fun! LFG!

No snow over there.. maybe a little in the last few days.. if Roslyn is clear the campground should be fine! Or in the snow is good too, for me!
Go check it out and let us know!

The SLS CG is closed and is quite a bit higher elevation than Roslyn so pack yr warm skivvies and yr snowshoes. Just in case.
I've camped at Oxbow in the middle of winter! Lake Easton isn't far away and I do have a friend in Suncadia so we'll figure it out!
