You may like a SA mastery titan. I prefer the titan long tho. Also at 240grab for the head weight or the grain (first 30’ of line) weight? Regardless you’d be looking at either a 6wt or 7wt in those lines. Hope you find something that ya like

Durability and fit are importantly to me and often these go hand in hand. I like the orvis as the calf and ankle area are a little bigger to allow for layering and fleece pants more easily (which is when I typically wear waders).

I tend to roll with 2 pairs (one older and one slightly newer). The patagucci’s I have are still holding up decently well but I’ve also been using the orvis pro for a bit and they have been great. A little warm but that doesn’t bother me as I mostly wear waders as needed, not all year.

Got the remaining poppers finished up. Will work on the last of the top water kreelexs and start shaping heads again

Love this thread cause I love this fly. So good how variable you can make em… bucktail, synthetic, on different style hooks, etc etc. I fished Bob one time and he was a super nice guy, real enjoyable to spend a day with. I never asked for a fly at the end of the day and still kick myself for it!

Half way through making some new heads. I think this counts as fly tying or do I need to wait til I put the tails on?

Moody weather had them grumpy but found some good periods of activity where they were ok to feed up a little more
