Only landed 5 today but all over 20" and two fish at 22". All fought well. None were to "beat up" and a couple were gorgeous fish. Intermediate line, 9' leader to 3X. All black and all white streamers. Get out there and get em!

Had another solid day with my son. I landed 8. He landed 12. Lost several fish. Water temp was 42 degrees; much more aggressive behavior than the last time I fished at 38 degrees. Streamers. White and olive. 5 and 6 weights. Intermediate lines with 9' leaders to 3x. Hooked most fish...

Same lake as last time. Same streamer. Same line. Was a beautiful day.

Got this one on a Dahlberg Diver, 6 ft leader, 24 ft sink tip in 12 ft of water. Solid fish.

I was casting a 6" leech on a 2/0 for bass and this slob ate my fly. Honestly, didn't fight worth a damn for 22". Came right to the net and rolled over. A little disappointing.

Starting to get a few. But it's been spotty. Anyone else finding smallmouth in W Wa lakes? These are 2 different fish. Both ate a 6" long Rabbit Strip streamer, unweighted in about 5 ft water fished on an intermediate line with 8 ft leader to 12 lb tippet. What's your go to? Jeff
