    Brush-on super glue?

I tried gorilla glue and had the same results. I have no problems with Krazy glue.

round tooth picks, preferably hard ones made from bamboo, is a good bodkin substitute for spreading around superglue.

Scott G Series 6 Weight feedback

Thank you for everyone's feedback. I own a couple Fenwick Aetos 5 weights (1st gen and 2nd gen) and was thinking about purchasing a 6 weight as I do like them. I would like one very nice rod and have casted a few Scott rods, own an older Scott SVS, and think the G Series may be a way to go. I...

Scott G Series 6 Weight feedback

Hello, I would appreciate feedback from folks who have fished the Scott G Series 9 ft 6 weight rods in stillwater's. I have casted the same rod in a 4 weight and enjoyed it very much and I find the Centric in a 6 weight a bit too fast. There is no Scott dealer near me to cast the G Series 6...

    Upcoming BC Trips

Although ice off came a little earlier than usual it seems to me chironomid fishing has taken a while to get going. The lower elevation lakes are just starting to fish well. With warm weather over the next week it should start to pick up but maybe a bit early for lakes at the elevation of Tunkwa...

    Upcoming BC Trips

I live in Kamloops and we have had folks from Washington state in the past month going skiing at a nearby mountain and I haven't heard of any vandalism, altercations, etc. Be polite, keep your political thoughts to yourself and enjoy your vacation.

    Kamloops boat option

I live in Kamloops. Small boats are generally all that is needed if you watch the weather on larger lakes and don't get stuck on the opposite end of the lake from the boat launch with a good stiff wind. Pick low wind days to fish larger lakes. All I have is a 10 ft Lowe with a Mini Kota and...

    Casting Long Leader Indicator Rigs

I find the same as Buzzy. A little wind drift sometimes works better than hanging straight down or a very slow retrieve after the drift can bring on a bite.

    Casting Long Leader Indicator Rigs

In addition to what has been said, perhaps try a floater that is made for indicator fishing or use a floater that is one or two weights heavier than your rod. Flopping it out there is about all I can do with over 20 ft of leader. If there is moderate wind and you are fishing in 20 ft you may...
