Nevermind, had a chance to really give it a good look today and the cable housing is nicked about 2 inches up from the transducer. Cut through the housing and one of the wires inside. Wonder if I snared some fishing line or something, because it is a clean cut.

I have a West Marine Starting 1000 for starting. I ran the electronics off of that last year but this year I bought another battery for that so I would not drain the starter.
