There are some 'experimental' traps being implemented on the Columbia. Probably too little too late, as that seems to be Oregon and Washington MO.Fish traps were outlawed in Washington State in 1934. They should have kept the traps and outlawed commercial fishing. Way easier to control what is harvested and almost zero by catch.
