What do you say when someone tells you they've travelled 5,200 miles to catch a coastal cutthroat?

The pressure's on when you get an email from a friend saying that they are going to travel 5,200 miles to catch a coastal Cutthroat. Leonard Schoenberger the publisher of Wading List wanted me to host him for a day of salt water fly fishing. Chuckles and smiles as we rigged up.

I'm showing the strain of having to deliver...

The fish cooperated! Many cutts and salmon to hand on small polar bear streamers.

The fish dispersed as the tide came in so we headed to Chinooks at Salmon Bay for hazy ales and salmon tacos to end a successful day.

Well done Dave!

Maybe he could return the favor and get you into some of those native searun Browns (sea trout) they have over there?!
