first place I look when needing a new flyline..the better lines tend to go quick

Same here... I just scored a few SA GPX lines for $35 each. I was going to recommend them to Pat but I just checked and they only have 4, 5 and 6 weights, no 8 weights left.

That Airflo streamer Max for $50 that sounds like a great deal as well!

have been buying from STP for decades...fly rods, reels, lines, waders, gear and clothing. Name brands at least 40% off. Sign up, and they will occasionally send an additional discount coupon to your inbox.
Another good one is Madison River Outfitters, who routinely put name goods on sale...recently picked my wife up a Simms Midcurrent jacket, my fave lightweight, for half off.

I ordered a line (Airflo nymph line), it should arrive Friday. Just in time for clouds and rain for the end of carp season (at least for me).

I don't think anyone suggested a Rio line, fascinating! ;-)

The best support basic line I've used is the scientific angler gpx
