Had a nice afternoon with just a little wind for this lake. It is all very shallow in this area of the lake and I found fish in 1 to 4 feet of water. The Lahontans ranged in size quite a bit:

A couple of fish were dark, but most had good coloring, like this one:

All the fish fought decently for Lahontans and none of them looked like they had been hooked previously. I did think that the fish seemed to be on the thin side.

The only other fishermen I saw were two guys in a rowboat way to the north who appeared to be trolling around.

The water temperature was 49 to 50 degrees, but very murky with just 12 to 18 inches of visibility. But somehow those fish found my dark olive rabbit fur leech just fine. I was casting and stripping as I usually do, so the fish were probably feeling the vibrations of the moving fly with their lateral line.

Right after sunset the wind really picked up and became fierce. The fish also went off the bite, so I called it a day.
