The lake is below hazardous level according to the post from 12/12 on the toxin website.
I know last year they required two consecutive readings below the guideline at least a week apart before fishing was allowed.
That was last year, I'm not sure what they'll do this year.
The state park manager should know.20221213_165333.jpg

No algae spotted at the launch, but the ice was a different story. Most of the lake was iced over but there was some open water in the middle. Based on tracks in the snow, it looks like boats may have been launched, but it was frozen today. Brought my float tube and fishing gear but will have to come back when it is warmer later in the winter/early spring to fish with my son.

It is really odd, there are no sources, like houses, around the lake. What is feeding the algae bloom? With Lone Lake, it is pretty apparent...

Ira empties his juice bottle near the launch whenever he takes out. Coincidence?
For the last time I use a Nalgene bottle now. That and there ain’t no way I’m making it back to the launch.
