I recently picked up a first generation, early 1990s Rio Windcutter line, from the Jim Vincent era, that had this blank field test report form in the box. Still a good template for talking about and comparing lines. Years ago SA (3M era) sent me some prototype leaders for feedback after I sent them a letter asking about butt diameters. I thought that was pretty special. Wonder whether the big companies still do this kind of field testing to get angler input?
