Excellent little, last of the year fishing trip with AP and Rick Smith … up at the local I-5 rock pit. It didn’t rain on us, was fairly warm (54*) ..and just a light breeze. Unfortunately, the water was pretty dirty from runoff, and the fish had trouble finding our flies. 
We did have a couple good hits, and Austin hooked up with a big fish (steelhead?) ..only to pull the hook close to the boat. Aaaaargh…! Thanks again Paul, it was on one of your flies. We’ll get them next time… Happy New Year!
Weeds count…right? Austin is getting fairly handy with the fins, but wild on the sticks! Sure likes his new ride.
