Flats boots repair advice needes

Hi All,

I have a pair of Simms boots as shown and the front cap is starting to separate. I will be using them shortly and was wondering what you all might suggest or has found to work for these..??

Those boots look brand new :ROFLMAO:! No repairs needed.

Mine look like this after 8 weeks of flats use.

I will keep them until the stitching pulls out.

I’m a fan of the 3M 5200, fixed a couple wading boots with it. Clean with isopropyl, fully dry and apply.

whatever you do to glue the pieces together, you'll want to soak the fraying threads in super glue so they don't unravel further.

I've used shoe goo in the past but it sounds like there might be better products available.

My choice would be a Shoe Goo product......................Goop Marine.

As an aside, Shoe Goo/Goop is a Eugene, Oregon based company.
