Explored a little lake that is new to me, but probably familiar to those of you who have been there and would recognize it from this photo. It is a scenic lake, but very muddy at any access points, as shown in the foreground of this photo above. It is above 3,300 feet so the water temperature was nice at 58 to 59 degrees. The water visibility was quite good at about 12 feet. No hatches of significance, but I was surprised to see some Travelling Sedges hatching (not a lot, maybe a half dozen). I either hooked fish down deep using a caddis nymph or fishing the edges of the lily pads using a generic nymph pattern (Muskrat Nymph). Here's the data on the fish caught over the two days (about 9 hours of fishing):

A few of the other guys also caught some large bluegills.
The wildflowers are pretty much done for the year, but I did see this Sulphur Cinquefoil:
And the Snowberries are prolific around this lake:
Nice lake that I'll probably revisit in the future...
