Any Chopaka reports since winter kill?

got a report from a friend, who has friends who just came back for Chopaka. crappy weather, crappy road, so-so fishing. while you can have a fire, it was wet and windy. fishery guy told them there was a late winter kill due to the lake freezing a second time and they did not plant the lake. fishery guy also said they came up and removed all the dead fish. guys fishing said at least the fish were decent size . again, this was the report from two guys that just came from the lake, so don't hold me accountable for this info.
with that being said, and looking at the weather for this week, I am not going.
will be at a popular lake by Beverly this weekend. it rhymes with Police.
