We hosted two freshwater bass guys on Sunday, they did well....but the strength of an amberjack was a shock to them. "One of those is enough!" was the quote 🤣.

And lots of fish nuggets, good stuff!

Melissa hooked TWO big goats on one jig and landed both. She then topped it off with a beautiful Kagami. My absolute favorite sashimi. Then a client from Washington took his first GT...he was shocked at the raw power And the day was capped by sashimi cut by Nate, using the hand forged...

We instituted a slot limit on our boat this year for uku/green jobfish to protect the big breeders. All uku over 12 pounds are released now, so Dalton was a little grumbly when we made him release this 16 pound beauty 😂..... We had steady action on 6-10 pounders and several nice bonus...

Have a great trip. And yeah, the first ten minutes are fun. After that....I just want them off my line so I can chase the gamefish I'm after. You can tell immediately when you hook a shark. The fight is very different. It's like being hooked to a stubborn mule.
