Thanks. I use a Canon Rebel body and a 100 mm lens for the macroinvertebrates. I used a 30 mm lens for the habitat photo and stitched 3 photos together. All the photos were taken using natural light.
Thanks a lot for the info. It's interesting that those great insect photos were taken in natural light. When I try to take closeups, specifically of flies I've tied, I've messed around with a variety of artificial lights, and natural light. I seem to recall that natural light renders the most accurate colours. Thanks for this confirmation.
