Are you hollow tying stations reverse tied on top and bottom? Great profile!
I can't remember if I've answered this or not, but no, I don't reverse tie it. I just progressively use more hollow bucktail as I work my way to the head to get it to spread out wider. I've found that reverse tying gives me a slightly more bulky profile when wet than I prefer for these. I sometimes do for muskies, but usually not.

Found this on the interweb. Made a few minor changes; a bit more flash in the thorax and marmot tail instead of squirrel for the wing.

thread - Uni 8/0 black
tag - medium tinsel opal
rib - small wire gold
body - hare’s ear dyed olive
thorax - Starburst olive
shoulder - pheasant rump dyed olive
wing - marmot tail

Sorry if you’ve answered this elsewhere, but what’s that material? Looks kinda like angel hair, which I love the movement of but hate dealing with while tying! Haven’t seen it in those colors. Anyway I love the look!
Thanks, it's frenzy fly fibre from Fishient. It's thicker than angel hair, good for streamers 3 inches and up IMO. Anything smaller and it won't make that nice tear drop taper anymore I don't think. I like how it's somewhat curly, gives it a buggy look.

This one’s for Andy; neighbor went to The U and even though he’s not a fisherman, he’s a big ‘Canes fan and a nice guy.
