Thread - Black
Tail - Red Yarn, cotton or wool, bobbed short
Ribbing - Brown hackle, palmered, trimmed short
Body - Natural kapok dubbing (I used yellow)
Legs - Orvis Natural Pheasant Hopper Legs, trimmed to size (I knotted my own legs)
Wings - Mottled turkey, tied tent style over the body to the bend of the hook
Hackle - Brown, tied heavy, one size larger than the hook

Pink for the belly or wing? Haven’t we had that debate before. ;)

I believed we have! :)
One camp vouches for the green back and pink belly to better mimic baitfish coloration. The other camp leans of the shades of the color, pink tends to be darker therefore more suitable to be on top. I tie one of each variation :)
Fish camp don't care.

Original has a poly downwing but I prefer the upright position for better visibility. Tied here as a washed out Adams; change color/size to suit your needs.

I’m a sucker for antelope, too bad it ties like poo in comparison.
